PhD Position in Industrial Energy Systems

The PhD
student will use process integration methods and tools
to identify options for improving the energy efficiency
of process plants for production of synthetic natural

Energi and other research groups active in the field of
biomass gasification. The position is open within the
Division of Heat and Power Technology.
Applicant requirements
Applicants should hold a M.Sc. degree (civ.ing.) in
an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Energy or
Chemical Engineering awarded by an internationally
recognised university-level institution - or documented

independently. Previous professional experience within
the research field will be considered as an additional
qualification. Particular interest will be paid to
applicants with experience with process simulation
