PhD Scholarship in Mathematics 
Scholarship Description
Full time scholarship (at A$19,616 per annum) leading to
a PhD in Applied Mathematics is available to selected
applicant. Topics of interest include nonlinear
instability theory as it applies to problems in
computational biology and geophysical fluid dynamics.
The work will involve a combination of analysis and
large scale computing. Applicants should have a strong
background in Applied Mathematics or Physics with a
bachelors or higher degree. Inquiries and applications

Biology. Start between March 2008 and 31 December 2008.
Eligibility:
At least Honours 1 or equivalent, or Honours 2a or
equivalent.
